Arts and crafts are a way of life here, and at many times of year you will be able to see the craftsmen and women working at their skills. Alford is renowned as being a craft centre and has a spring, summer and Christmas craft market each, year dedicated to promoting these specialised trades.
The county also has four weekends during the summer each year where artists open their studios and workshops so that visitors can take a glimpse at their work in the making.
