THE LEGEND OF ROBIN HOOD more information 

Discover some of the truth about Robin Hood, what he ate, how he dressed, where he lived, how he fought and more besides. But it's not all history... The Knights of Skirbeck will need some young recruits to help them as perform their unique retelling of a "Robin Hood Farce" - a short comedy play, combining historical fact with Monty Python references in a panto style format. Naturally you will also be able to try on real armour, handle real weapons, have a go at some medieval games & crafts and for the brave souls among you, the surgeons tools and torture implements - but which is which? All this and the usual unique array of artefacts and displays in the museum collection, what a great way to spend some quality time with the family this summer holiday - and it's FREE So join us at The Guildhall Museum, South Street, Boston.
